DIY Cork Bulletin Board

Do you have trouble sticking things to your cement block walls??? Maybe this will help to solve the problem! This can be done in less than 30 minutes...Yes, I said less than 30 minutes!

Items to Gather:

  • 2' X 2' piece of cork (I found this at Lowes as a 4' x 2' roll for $9.99)
  • piece of art paper to cover cork
  • duct tape (color of choice)
  • scotch tape
  • clothes pins
  • push pins
  • glue gun or gorilla glue

    Step 1
: Lay art paper on a flat surface.

    Step 2:
Place cork on top and fold paper like you are wrapping a present.

    Step 3:
Use scotch tape to hold in place.

Step 4: Flip over and frame with the duct tape leaving a 1" border around the outside so you can use this to adhere to the wall.

Step 5: For the clothes pins, lay them on the sticky side of the duct tape, cut so the top is covered.

Step 6: Attach the push pins to the back with a glue gun or gorilla glue.

    Other Tips/Suggestions:

This can be easily customized for any class theme and changed regularly.

    Happy Crafting ;-)
