DIY Privacy Screens

Privacy screens are helpful for the times when you want your students to work independently and without distraction. You can easily make a classroom set of privacy screens using mailing boxes.

Items to Gather:

  • 17.25" x 11.25" x 6" mailing box for each student in your class. This is the perfect size box for the privacy screens.  Students can still see over the top of the box as you provide instruction.

Instructions:

1.  Using scissors, an Exacto knife, or box cutters simply cut one long side from the box.  Yes, that's it!

Other Tips/Suggestions:

Store your privacy screens in one area of your classroom where they are easily accessible to your students.  Establish a routine where they can quickly get a screen and set it up so that you can begin your instruction.

Hope you find these privacy screens helpful!
